ArtSpeak: Yago Partal's Zoo Portraits
Today I'm sharing one of my favorite illustrator and photographer's work of late: Zoo Portraits by Yago Partal. This collection is my go-to for a quick shot of happiness. How can you not smile when you see animals in human attire? The below are my top picks, even though I would love to submit my 3 yahoos for her next portrait session—a girl can dream right? Couldn't you totally see Willie Nelson showboating in his vintage Pendleton flannel jacket and lumber jack cap? Goes perfectly with his pink tongue. While Buju would obviously be sporting a classic monocle and tweed blazer because he's such a scholar. Yago Partal, if you are reading this, let's make it happen!
Willie Nelson's long lost cousin
Skunks love Atwater Village and I bet this one represents the hood.
