Let's Go: Adventure to Joshua Tree
It's been a crazy year so when my 2 good friends and I decided it was time to go off the grid for a 24 hour sabbatical I was game. None of us had been to Joshua Tree and luckily this magical desert oasis is a short car ride away from Los Angeles. Even though it was a quick trip, it was a perfect excuse to spend time with women I admire and who totally get me. Needless to say if you know anyone of us, we accomplished a lot. Lau, Nicole and I took our 24-hour timeframe seriously: we ate dinner at Pizza for the People, had drinks and listened to local bands at Joshua Tree Saloon, scored vintage finds from Hoof & The Horn, explored Coyote Hole and enjoyed some much needed relaxation while stargazing at our cute airbnb abode. I have to say, I am so grateful to have such supportive girlfriends in my life, especially ones that love adventure. Thankfully these ladies know how to travel. The trip was a success (minus a speeding ticket) and allowed us to come back refreshed for our adventures to come. If you have questions on any of these places please hit me up in the comment section, contract form or twitter. I'll be happy to share some insight. One quick tip: book your trip now before the summer heat hits! Going forward my blog posts will be filled with photos from past trips to Burning Man, ACL, Leo Carrillo, San Francisco and adventures in DTLA (Downtown Los Angeles for you newbies). The reason for this? I'm currently focusing on new projects for the B&G Studio and BSchool. Cheers to new adventures ahead and be sure to hit me up on instagram to see all the projects and progress! Much love, M
