Music Mania 14 / Drug Culture

Yes I know this theme is a little risqué but like it or not drugs have played a big part in the history of music—and judging by the stream of random drug related posts in my facebook feed lately I'm not surprised that this playlist creation creeped into my psyche. Needless to say but this new wave of narcotics has scared the shit out of me. What happened to the days of smoking a little grass? I guess you can chalk it up to me feeling my age but between the stories of bath salts, zombies and alligators, I've found myself being nostalgic for Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill, Peter Tosh and some Queen. I did toss in a couple of newbies from Cherub and Danny Brown. Regardless of all these new creations out there, I know for sure I'll be staying far far away from that madness and I hope you do the same.
