We're Celebrating 1 year of Willie Nelson!
It's been a year since Willie Nelson has joined our family. Last December, I took a journey out to Baldwin Park Shelter to rescue this little pup whose photo was placed on my facebook wall by my old roomie (NKLA all the way!). The blurry picture didn't supply me with much of a visual of this lovable pup but I knew I had to help this guy out. On the freedom ride out of the shelter, Willie Nelson was stone-cold possum. He remained in this state for a solid couple of days. I had never seen anything like it and was a ball of emotions about it. Once my parents arrived for the holidays, Willie started to come out of his shell. Plenty of love, rest and food allowed for him to show us what he was all about, which over the course of the year, has mainly been snoring, bed hogging, wagging his Willie butt and untying shoes. It was no wonder why the photo of him was so blurry—this guy has tons of energy. Sam and I can't imagine our lives without this wonderful love bug. Now if only we could get Buju and Kukui to be onboard. See more photos after the jump.
