Inspiration: All Things Life Aquatic

Bill Ubell, the Life Aquatic This past weekend Sam shared with me the movie The Life Aquatic by one of his favorite filmmakers, Wes Anderson. It seemed only right as he's been spending so much time crafting his pine wood derby car for Bigfoot Lodge's month knotty pine race. I hate to admit but I'm not the biggest movie buff, which Sam can make up for as he's pretty much in the biz and does a pretty awesome job of sharing with me things like Zissou that I missed out on. Top off the weekend with his creations that still have me pretty much in awe of his creative skills. So this post is dedicated to him and all his hard work he's put into making such an awesome car.
