Happy Saturday night! I needed to make something quick in celebration of Sam's new iPhone 6. Well, it's more of a celebration for me as I could barely hear him on his last phone for over a year now.  Hallelujah as I love his voice. Now on to the drink: Paloma Poloma. Why the weird name for this classic drink? I'm going for more tart so no lemon-lime soda here people. After a day of hot wings at Hyperion Public it's the only drink to balance out the heat. Ingredients

  • 2 ounces of reposado tequila (0r blanco if you prefer)
  • 2 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • Salt for rimming (optional)
  • If you like it a little sweet, use pink grapefruit juice or add a touch of agave

Directions

Fill a glass with ice. Add the tequila, fresh grapefruit juice, lime juice and stir. If you like mine above use a cocktail shaker and add ice. Don't shakestir and then pour drink into your glass. Cheers!
